Can (film) tracking create an illusion of depth?
it's for my fourth period class....
for those of you who don't know, tracking (dolly) shots are when a camera is placed on a rail and moved around giving the illusion of movement such as running in first person, being chased, or looking out the window from the viewers eyes.
I'm not too sure it creates an illusion of depth as much as motion.
