what all would i need to buy for photography lighting?
im just starting out in photography and so far all ive done is work with natural light. so now i want to start using artificial light. so what all would i need to buy for enough lighting to do a full body shot with softboxes. i know theta there are cheap kits out there.. but i want to buy at least a half descent one. i know that some brands each of the individual parts of the whole soft box are sold separate, so what all would i need to purchase?
I always recommend Alien Bees as the most bang for the buck. If you are just starting out in photography and have not been trained in lighting and ratios, I would suggest you first purchase one light of the strongest you can afford and an umbrella and learn to use that, then add lights and modifiers as you learn.
